Congratulations to experienced duo, Sam Giles and Hayden Biddle who both achieved milestones on the weekend.
Sam played his 50th match for the Club in the C’s & whilst he missed out with the bat, he bowled very tidily to collect 2/23 from 7 overs.
Sam joined the Echidnas in 2020/21 after a 20 odd year absence from cricket & took to it like a duck to water. A top order batter and useful medium pacer, the majority of his 50 matches have been played in A2 and B Grade with his best season coming in 2021/22 when he scored 408 runs @ 29.14 across A2’s & the A Grade T20 comp.
