Congratulations to experienced duo, Sam Giles and Hayden Biddle who both achieved milestones on the weekend.
Hayden, meanwhile, collected 2/2 in Saturday’s A2’s victory to tick over to 51 wickets for Wistow.
Joining the Echidnas a season later than Sam, Bids’ cricketing journey is a well travelled one, with stints at Meningie Cricket Club & the now defunct Furner/Beachport CC. He burst on the scene during his first season up at the Hill, collecting 26 wickets to win the A2’s Bowling Aggregate. Last season was a quiet season as Bids missed a number of matches due to numerous weddings and Buck’s shows but he’s bounced back well this season with 15 wickets so far despite being utilised in a different role this season.
