OSCAR CHAPMAN – 50 SENIOR MATCHES

Congratulations to Oscar Chapman who became the latest member of the famous Chapman clan to rack up 50 senior matches for the WCC in Saturday’s C Grade victory, which Oscar celebrated by taking an absolute blinder at first slip early in Lenswood’s unsuccessful run chase.

Oscar first debuted for the Echidnas back in U10’s many years ago and is one of a select few players to have scored a half-century, taken a five wicket haul & taken a hat-trick in club history.

This season, Oscar has predominantly played in C Grade with younger brother Max. Traditionally having been a 4th or 5th bowling option and lower order hitter, Oscar has begun to flourish in a new role this season as an opening batter and is currently the C’s 3rd leading runscorer with 152 runs @ 21.71.

Congratulations Ogg!
