Congratulations A2’s opening batter/wicketkeeper, Jordan Grooby, who achieved a personal milestone in Wednesday night’s T20.
Groobs scored 47* to move to 1,023 career runs for the WCC at a healthy average of 22.24. He’s had an interesting career at the Echidnas, first arriving in 2007 before playing regularly in the 2009/10 & 2010/11 seasons. He then moved over to Perth for about ten (10) years, returning to the Echidnas in 2021/22. Groobs is undoubtedly having his best season this season as he has excelled with the bat with 324 runs @ 64.80 so far, making at least double figures in every match this season.
