Congratulations to Clinton Smith who collected 4/23 in C Grade last weekend, including his 100th wicket for the club.
Since joining the Echidnas in 2018/19, Hillary’s non-spinning off-spin has consistently bamboozled opposition batters. Whilst most of his work has been done in the lower grades, his career average of 13.00 is amongst the best in club history suggesting that higher duty surely cannot be far away.
Clint’s best season came in 2021/22 when he won the C Grade Association Bowling Trophy with 29 wickets at 10.86.
